I'm trying to revive a Kodascope Eight 71A. I'd like to fit a new motor, but there aren't any spec markings on the stock motor, and the service manual doesn't mention any specs.
I'd really appreciate any tips or guidance you guys can offer to help me figure out what sort of motor range would be a safe bet. Has anyone installed a new motor on a similar sized projector?
If it's of any help, the stock motor is a brushed universal with a 1/4" shaft, and operates w/ a rheostat.
